Brown Hill Pot

Another highly enjoyable trip down this gem of a cave – it really has everything – a narrow but straightforward entrance series, route-finding and traversing in a high rift, the spectacular big pitch – Puits Ian Plant, and a short section of easy streamway to the final pitch and a frothy sump today, given the rather moist conditions above ground. Some spectacular waterfalls gave the place an extra special atmosphere, although wasn’t as wet underground as was expecting. Back on the surface after a 3hr trip to leave just enough time for tea and cake in inglesport. Jolly good! 🙂
