Notts 2

Very pleasant sunday trip into Notts 2 – a trip I had been wanting to do for ages but hadnt got round to. The entrance shaft was impressive. Both the upstream and downstream sumps were visited and various inlets explored to various degrees. Some of these ended in dodgy boulder chokes held up with scaffolding, but only one loose boulder had to be held back as it rolled towards my head!
The streamway is superb! Definitely one of the finest in the Dales.
The trip was concluded in Inglesport, where various cakes were Sam Allshornpled!
