Another trip into Echo to move some scaf and 71 scaf joints to the dig at the bottom. Due to the dry weather, the duck was really low and the water clear…..never seen that before. However, it smelt worse than normal, no doubt due to the water being static for over two weeks, allowing millions of nasty multiplying bugs (probably related to the Ebola virus or something similar) to thrive. Soon at the top of Jack Pot and the bags loaded with joints and the poles lobbed down the pitch. Tackle bags were double-lined and double-donkey-dicked to prevent bottom falling out. Steady and careful progress made to dig where everything was stacked before heading out. Still lots of work to do. Will return soon….but with a fully working light this time!!!!
