Minor extension made – 3m of rather muddy passage was gained after coaxing two shot hole out of a shit drill battery and capping them creating an awkward squeeze. Further hole could have been coaxed from the battery but the protective matting for around the firing rod had disintegrated! The squeeze lead into some very mud rift that choked just ahead.
