Having not been here for probably 12 years , I’d forgotten enough to want to go back. Also Chris had never been, so it seemed a sensible option for a lovely sunny day.
Efficient trip down what is actually a thoroughly good pothole ( with some mined sections) but with some impressively big shafts, saw us to the bottom and back in 4 hours. With only 260m of rope for a 150m deep pothole (virtually all of which is actually required) between the two of us, the return to daylight was dead easy ( apart from the tackle back refusing to leave a re-belay despite the fact that I already had.)

Anyone fancy an Oxlow to Maskill exchange in November?
