Penyghent Pot

Very enjoyable evening trip down Penyghent Pot, taking only 2hrs 45mins with only rigging first 4 pitches and taking ropes for flake pitch and myers leap. Met tom just before 6pm and a brisk change and walk-up saw us underground at 6.45pm. Water conditions were a little lower than normal and i showed tom the best way to free-climb the various rift pitches. Down at the sump just after 8pm then a steady trip out reaching the surface around 9.30pm. Back in Horton just after 10pm for copious beers!! 🙂
