Penyghent Pot / Bull Pot
Saturday, 14 February 2009 – Sunday, 15 February 2009

Saturday (valentines day…….pah!) saw rob and myself down Penyghent Pot for an excellent, if tad chilly, trip to the downstream sump. Rob wanted to have a go at doing some rigging and he did an excellent job of rigging virtually all the pitches, although we climbed a few of them. I de-rigged and we were back on the surface by around 7.30pm in time for a very fine meal in the crown and a few civilised pints….ahem!

Rose and Karen met up with us on the sunday morning and we headed over to Bull Pot so that Rose could do some rigging practice…..via inglesport for flapjack of course!!! Rose and Karen did an excellent job of rigging and de-rigging the cave while I forced folk to pose for piccies…..though the extreme drippy-ness in the cave meant not many were taken (hmmm, or was it just that I couldn’t be arsed….bit of both i suppose).
Soon back on t’surface and back t’cottage for what is always the best, and most eagerly anticipated part of the trip……rope washing!! Yeeeeyyyyyy!! Then t’crown for beer, after food and wine 🙂

Cheers for a great weekend!!!!
